Communication is Key…

What binds us is Communication. We meet people, we socialize, we crack the occasional joke, we buy some one a drink. We interact, we converse and all these, in its purest form leads to one word, Communication.

So how do we effectively communicate in this day and age. The mediums available are endless,we have blogs, websites, comment boxes and a barrage of weirdly named social networks, like pownce, ning and twitter.

As i’ve learned, these are all viable if not better ways to communicate, in general, so yeah, we’re losing a tiny bit of personal touch, but there are ways to get that personal touch onto online.

I came across CopyBlogger today and it’s a great resource to effectively communicate in the web 2.0 environment. I skimmed through some articles and I’ve picked out some standouts, here, here and here.

Facebook is looking for a User Interface Engineer. I’ve personally heard too many complaints about the new “look” facebook, I think it still rocks, but if you’re one the many who do really feel strongly about it, this is a great opportunity to do something about it!

Copywriter – Zipcar

Zipcar is the world’s largest car sharing and car share service. It’s a great fun place to be and is definitely a company thats going places. Oh yeah, and being a copywriter ain’t that bad either!
